Mill Cottage
Mill Cottage is an attached traditional cosy cottage with private rear garden and courtyard terrace.
Mill Cottage was once part of the old watermill which dates from around 1720 and it is believed that there was once an old manor house in the grounds and the medieval stone wall still forms part of the rear garden to the cottage, which was called ‘The Merry” and was used in medieval times as a meeting place.
The accommodation includes a bedroom with kingsize or twin beds and a smaller double bedroom. There is a good size shower room with tiled shower. The galley kitchen has a fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and electric oven and hob. The comfortable sitting room has an LCD TV with DVD player, and the cottage is heated with oil fired central heating
Dogs are permitted by arrangement, but are not permitted in the grounds to preserve the wildlife, but there some super woodland walks only minutes from the cottage, with streams and creeks for your dogs to swim. ( we even provide old towels! )
There is parking available either at the rear of Mill Cottage or in the car park.
