The Eden ProjectIf you're looking for a fascinating and educational day out, then head over to the Eden Project. The Eden Project, dubbed the eighth wonder of the world, is just 15 minutes drive from the Mill. Created in a disused china clay pit outside St Austell, the Eden Project displays the diversity and riches of the world's flora and explores the relationship between plants and people. The Project has two amazing biomes, the Humid Tropics Biome (which, at 50m, is the largest greenhouse in the world) and the Warm Temperate Biome (filled with beautiful plants from the Mediterranean and South America). There is also a wonderful food hall, selling organic and homemade food. |
